Why gut health matters

Your gut does more than digest.

An unhealthy gut microbiome may contribute to:

  • Bloating
  • Irregular digestion
  • Low energy
  • Skin problems
  • Increased stress
  • Poor mood
  • Brain fog
  • Weaker immunity

It can also increase inflammation and affect how well the body absorbs nutrients. The encouraging part: your gut bacteria respond to what you feed them, and fibre is their preferred fuel.

The research reaches past digestion, too — into sleep, thinking, appetite and immune response. See what the studies found

Associations reported in gut microbiome research, not outcomes of taking BIOMEWARD.

Inside every pouch

Five ingredients, each with a reason to be here.

Your gut bacteria use prebiotic fibre as fuel. Five sources, five different ways to feed them, and 25 published studies behind them.

Every pouch is 35% PHGG, 25% psyllium, 17.5% resistant potato starch, 15% acacia and 7.5% inulin.

02

Psyllium husk in a ceramic dish

Pooled human trials

Psyllium

Plantago ovata husk

A gel-forming fibre that holds water as it travels. In healthy volunteers it left people fuller and less hungry between meals, and 28 pooled trials sit behind its wider effects.

03

Potato starch powder beside a sliced potato

Randomised controlled trial

Resistant potato starch

A fermentable resistant starch

Slips past digestion and arrives where your bacteria are waiting. A placebo-controlled trial measured a rise in Bifidobacterium and Akkermansia — two of the most sought-after gut species — on just 3.5 g a day.

04

Acacia fibre powder with acacia leaves

Human dietary study

Acacia

Fermentable soluble fibre

Feeds bifidobacteria, the beneficial group researchers look for first. It ferments slowly and further along the bowel than some fibres, which is why it tends to sit so easily.

05

Inulin powder with sliced chicory root

Pooled human trials

Inulin

A classic prebiotic fibre

The most direct bifidobacteria feeder in the blend. Pooled results from 50 studies and 2,525 people found inulin reliably raised Bifidobacterium at 3 to 20 g a day.

Five sources.
One daily scoop.

A refreshing lemon blend that helps nourish the beneficial bacteria already living in your gut.

Questions

Before you make it a habit.

What does BIOMEWARD taste like?

Lemon is designed to be light and refreshing rather than a sweet sports drink.

How do I use it?

Mix one level scoop into at least 250 mL of water or another cold drink, stir well and drink it. Once a day is all it takes.

What if it upsets my stomach at first?

Adding fibre quickly can bring on gas or bloating while your gut adjusts, and inulin in particular is known for it. Start on half a scoop for the first week, build up from there, and drink plenty of water alongside it.

Can I take it every day?

Yes — daily is how it is meant to be used. Fibre can slow how quickly medicines are absorbed, so leave a couple of hours between your scoop and anything prescribed. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or managing a health condition, check with your doctor first.

Is this a probiotic?

No, it is a prebiotic. Probiotics add live bacteria; prebiotics feed the beneficial ones you already have.

How long until I notice anything?

The studies behind these fibres ran anywhere from one week to twelve. Changes in regularity tend to be what people notice first; the microbiome shifts researchers measure take longer. Every gut is different, so the research describes averages rather than promises — treat the first month as finding out how yours responds. That is what the guarantee is for.

Is this just for digestion?

Fibre starts in the gut, but the research goes further than that. Trials on these ingredients have also measured sleep, alertness and immune response, and they are all on the research page.

Is it low-FODMAP or gluten-free?

We do not hold low-FODMAP, gluten-free, organic or non-GMO certification, so we do not claim any of them. One thing worth knowing either way: inulin is a FODMAP, and this blend contains it.

Why I made BIOMEWARD

A product I wished had existed.

For years, IBS made my digestion difficult to predict. Frequent bathroom trips, bloating, discomfort and flare-ups made maintaining a normal routine frustrating.

When my digestion was worse, I often noticed other parts of my wellbeing felt worse too — including my energy, concentration, stress levels and skin.

I tried changing my diet, taking supplements and using individual fibre products. Many were unpleasant, confusing or relied heavily on one fibre. Others made promises without clearly explaining their ingredients or research.

I created BIOMEWARD because I wanted the product I had been looking for: a transparent blend of complementary fibre sources that is simple enough to use every day.

It is not a miracle cure. It is a more honest, practical way to support your gut and build a routine you can maintain.
